What to do if you find a stray animal:
If you find a stray / lost animal, you are more than welcome to bring the animal into the clinic and one of our nurses can scan the animal to see if it has a microchip. We will then search on various databases to see if there are any contact details. Every effort will be made to contact the owner.
All pets without a microchip or lacking up to date microchip information are to be taken by the kind samaratin who found the animal to Logan City Council to be reunited with their rightful owners, OR the kind samartin can take the animal home and post on relevant facebook pages and keep at their premises until is reunited with their rightful owner.
We do not keep strays in our hospital, as we are unsure of the animal's history, unless they regularly visit Middle Road Vet Hospital and we are familiar with their history.
Please microchip your pets and keep all
contact details up to date.
We look after pets in Greenbank, Boronia Heights, Hillcrest, Forestdale, Park Ridge, Regents Park, Parkinson, New Beith, Springfield Lakes, Browns Plains and Munruben areas.
